Well-established, entrepreneurial, oleo chemical company is looking to fill a critical sales position in the Chicago, IL area. This is an exceptional income opportunity, perfectly suited for someone with an aggressive and successful sales background. The territory is IL, IA, WI, MN, ND, SD, NB, KS, MO, and MI. Responsibilities: Sell a broad range of oleo chemicals & surfactants to a variety of markets (Lubricants, Grease, Metalworking Fluids, Polyurethanes, Plastics Additives, PVC, Chemical Manufacturing, etc.) in the region. Manage all existing business. Aggressively prospect for and develop new sales opportunities. Communicate and work with all internal departments effectively. Grow sales aggressively. Travel overnight as needed. |
Requirements: 8+ years of chemical sales experience, preferably a chemical distribution background and/or oleo chemical or surfactants sales experience. A bachelor’s degree is required; a business degree is good, but a technical concentration (Chemistry, Chem-E, Polymer Science, etc.) is preferred. Must be a self-starter and able to work well internally with all departments. This is a very entrepreneurial company, and this position is only suited for someone who is aggressive in sales and entrepreneurial thinking as well. Must be somewhat self-managing and have strong computer skills. A high level of motivation to earn a high income. |

Compensation: Base: $140,000 – $180,000 (commensurate with experience). Plus, Bonuses/Commissions: Average range is $30,000 – $50,000. These are solid programs based on individual results with no cap, potential is high. Excellent car allowance and company benefits. |
