Responsibilities: Have your home office in, or near, Louisville or Lexington and cover a territory that is basically the state of Kentucky. Call on design and production engineers and purchasing professionals to grow existing and new business. Sell a broad range of industrial adhesives & sealant materials. Aggressively prospect for and develop new accounts. Build strong and lasting business relationships that produce repeat business.

Requirements: 3+ years of industrial sales experience. Experience selling adhesives and/or sealant materials is strongly preferred. A college degree is required, but the concentration is open. A team player with a winning personality. Must be motivated to win and have a desire to accomplish goals. Strong sales and communication skills. We are looking for a closer and a relationship builder. The market is industrial product assembly, automotive, medical device, aerospace, electronics, solar, LED, etc. Excellent follow-up is required. Computer skills will be needed. Willingness to travel overnight if needed.

Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000 base plus generous and on-going commissions. Across the company, the average total compensation level in sales is greater than $150,000 per year. Tenured salespeople in the company with 5+ years are making over $160,000 per year. Car allowance. Strong company benefits package.
